Using a technique I have been working on for the past few months to craft hard surface models from the Volume Builder tool set in Cinema4D. I've found that I am able to nail down some decent shapes with this method. A deeper dive will be shown at a later time for those that might want more insight.
This was a great next step into refining and getting better results from my technique. This iteration comes after a little over 15 different attempts at making my hard surface shapes feel close to what is common but in my own style. Using volumes can makes thing feel "blobby" especially in the sharper edges of a shape but I counter with denser Volume Builder generators. I'm sure with more practice I will be even closer to even more practical examples for different works in the future.
